In Switzerland’s competitive job market, our client – a leader owning two major job portals, Yousty.ch and Professional.ch – sought to scale their platforms to serve a growing user base. Yousty.ch connects students with apprenticeships, while Professional.ch links young professionals to employers. To ensure success, they needed a stable, skilled team of developers and designers. Facing high recruitment costs, a shortage of senior talent in Switzerland, and lengthy onboarding, they required a team with both technical expertise and cultural alignment. The Client: two leading Swiss job portals

Our client is a Swiss company that, among other ventures, owns two of the largest job portals in the Swiss market: Yousty.ch and Professional.ch.

Yousty.ch – The largest vocational education platform in Switzerland, helping graduating students find apprenticeships, internships, and opportunities for further vocational training. The platform enables exploration of various career paths through aptitude tests and detailed information about professions, connecting students with future employers. Yousty.ch also supports employers in publishing job offers and provides advice on job applications, interviews, and career planning.

Professional.ch – An online platform aimed at young professionals, offering job listings and opportunities for professional development. The portal serves as a bridge between companies and young talents, especially those who have completed the first stage of vocational education. The platform’s goal is to facilitate the integration of young specialists into the job market and support their ongoing professional growth.

The Problem: high costs and shortage of specialists

To advance both projects, the client faced the challenge of building a stable and highly skilled (senior-level) team of developers and UX/UI designers. Due to the high costs and low availability of specialists in the Swiss market, the technical complexity of the projects, and the lengthy onboarding process for new employees, staff turnover was costly, causing delays and limiting the ability to achieve business objectives.
