The Problem: creating a robust and flexible tech solution in a month
Eltinga faced the challenge of developing an online platform: a tool designed to help property owners easily and intuitively assess the potential for energy efficiency upgrades to their buildings.
Although the team had extensive experience in energy analysis, they lacked a robust yet user-friendly tool capable of fully automating the process. Such a tool needed to enable users to quickly estimate the benefits of upgrades like improved insulation, window replacements, or heating system enhancements. Adding to the complexity, the tool had to be developed within just one month (!) and required the flexibility to accommodate rapid and frequent changes. This included updates to the site structure and modifications to the algorithms calculating energy efficiency, as the project had to adapt to evolving requirements from government institutions and banks collaborating with the client.

We chose Bubble.io as our low/no-code platform because of its ability to rapidly prototype and deploy web applications without the need to write code from scratch. This approach ensured efficient use of resources and significantly reduced project timelines, which was critical for the flexibility and speed required for deployment.
Bubble.io also offers seamless integration with external APIs and supports flexible app customisation. These features make the tool highly scalable and easily adaptable to evolving market demands and user needs.

Further development and scalability
We plan to further enhance the Eltinga tool by integrating it with external databases beyond the Bubble.io ecosystem to achieve greater flexibility. Additionally, we intend to develop an advanced computational algorithm outside of Bubble.io to improve the application’s performance and fully utilize Eltinga’s sophisticated analytical models. Bubble.io will continue to serve as the frontend, enabling rapid updates to the visual design and user experience.
Conclusion
We developed a fully functional web platform for Eltinga in just one month using the low/no-code Bubble.io platform. This approach saved the client 115,000 PLN in MVP implementation costs and reduced monthly operating expenses by 47,800 PLN.
The solution is scalable, flexible, and designed to accommodate rapid changes required by customers and business partners. It also supports seamless integration and future development.
